How do I make an appointment?
Simply fill out my contact form so we can discuss the best service for your needs and schedule a day and time that best suits your schedule!
How long is an appointment?
The majority of my services take roughly an hour, with the exception of our Combination Eyebrow tattooing service, which is roughly two hours. All appointments include time to discuss the desired results and aftercare instructions to ensure that you receive the best results possible.
How should I prepare for my appointment?
Prior to your appointment, I recommend the following to ensure the best experience and results:
– Please do not take blood thinners for 48 hours before your appointment. This includes aspirin, niacin, Vitamin E, fish oil, alcohol, and caffeine (unless advised by a physician).
– If you are experiencing any active breakouts or other injuries, please send me photos immediately (48 hours prior to your appointment) to ensure that your treatment can proceed as planned.
– For those booking a lip blush service, please gently exfoliate your lips for 7 days leading up to your appointment. Please also keep them hydrated with regular lip balm for the week leading up to your appointment. If you have ever had a cold sore (even just 1!), it is very important that you see your doctor to get a 7 day prescription of your usual antiviral medication. This should be taken for the 3 days prior to your appointment, the day of, and then 3 days after the procedure.
– Do not tint or dye your brows in the 7 days leading up to your appointment.
– If you fill in your brows daily, please do so as you normally would so that I can see how you like to wear them. If you wax or thread your brows, please do so a week before your appointment. For every client, I design and map you brows according to your unique structure/features.
– Avoid sun/tanning bed exposure for 7 days before your procedure.
– Avoid exercising the day of or for 5 days after your appointment – excessive sweating will strongly affect your pigment retention.
– Avoid chemical peels, microdermabrasion, mesotherapy or any other intense treatments that will cause faster skin cell rejuvenation or cause skin irritation 4 weeks before the procedure.
– Avoid using serums or skincare containing acid such as Accutane, Vitamin C, or retinol for 7 days prior to your appointment.
– Avoid cosmetic procedures such as Botox or fillers for 7 weeks prior to your appointment.
What are the prices?
All pricing can be found on my Services page.
When should I get a touch up?
The initial touch up appointment is best scheduled 6 weeks from the first appointment. Additional touch up appointments will be needed depending on sun exposure and skin condition and on average are needed once a year, to once every three years.
What is microblading?
Microblading is a cosmetic tattooing procedure that is ideal for anyone wanting to enhance the look of their eyebrows. It provides for incredibly natural results by mimicking real hair. Microblading is best suited for those that have normal to dry skin and has sufficient hair to ensure the best appearance. Microblading is performed by using a hand held tool that deposits pigment into the skin one “hair” stroke at a time, resulting in an incredibly natural and realistic look.
How long does it take to heal?
The average healing time is 14 days.
How long does it last?
On average, results last from 1-3 years. Please note that factors like sun exposure and ongoing skincare procedures can effect the longevity of your results.
What brow service will make my brows look the most natural?
Microblading has the most natural results, however, I work with every client to determine the best service to achieve their desired results.
Does it hurt?
I strive to ensure that every customer is as comfortable as possible during your procedure. I utilize a topical numbing cream during your appointment and recommend Tylenol as a pain reliever if needed.
Who is ineligible for cosmetic tattooing?
Those that are on Accutane, are currently pregnant or breastfeeding, are currently sunburnt, or are taking certain medications. Please inform me of any current medications that you are taking when filling out my contact form so that I can let you know if anything would conflict or make you ineligible for service.
Can I cover up eyebrow tattoos with microblading?
If you have had previous work performed on your eyebrows, please upload photos through my contact form so that I can help determine if you would be a good candidate and which service would work best for your desired goals.
Does it look real?
While I offer a few different services for eyebrow tattooing, all results are designed to be as natural as possible while taking into account your desired end result.
What is lip blushing?
Lip blushing is a cosmetic tattooing procedure that adds color to the lips, and enhances the definition of the vermillion border of the lips that we lose with age. Lip blushing colors are customized to preference and undertones of the individual’s lips. For those with dark pigmentation, color correction may need to be done first in order to provide the best results.
